  • Reducing the Glycemic Index
    
    • The glycemic index describes the glucose effect of a particular food in our body. The higher the glycemic index of a particular food, the bigger the impact of that food on glucose values in the blood stream. Soluble fiber (especially those in Bios Life ™) have been shown to provide a protective envelope around food that reduces the ability of enzymes to break food down as quickly. This of course, reduces the glycemic index, or the speed of which glucose is released from food.
