Over the years I've (and I'm sure you have too) heard of the most "interesting" diets. And, I'll admit that in my younger years, I even tried the grapefruit diet, the cabbage soup diet and a few others. What I've learned is - it's really about math - consuming less calories and expending more; Eating the right foods in the right proportions!If you grew up in 'clean the plate' era, as did I, then you know that it can feel like a sin to leave food on the plate. Unfortunately, our plates have gotten bigger. Did you see the Super Size Me movie? It highlights our growing portion size and thus growing girth, yet many still don't know quite how to decrease portion sizes.
